Kaley Cuoco reacted to Kanye West's music video Kanye West | Kim Kardashian | Pete Davidson | Kaley Cuoco Kaley Cuoco supports Pete Davidson after Kanye West’s “disturbing” video Kanye West's recent music video, in which he threatens Pete Davidson with kidnapping and murder, has been widely criticized. Kanye West has responded to these criticisms and defended his art. But Kanye West continues to face criticism. Many people also prefer to defend Pete Davidson instead of criticizing Kanye West. Kaley Cuoco has shared her support for Pete Davidson after the actor was featured in Kanye West‘s new music video. The pair will be starring in rom-com 'Meet Cute' In the video for ‘Eazy’, West abducts and decapitates an animated figure who looks like Davidson. The SNL star is currently dating West’s ex-wife Kim Kardashian. Cuoco recently wrapped production on a romantic comedy called Meet Cute, in which she stars opposite Davidson. Under a tweet by Guardians of the Galaxy director James Gunn voicing support for Davidson, reposted on Instagram by @commentsbycelebs, Cuoco commented “Fact.” At the time of writing the comment has over 4,200 likes. “For the record, Pete Davidson is one of the nicest, sweetest guys I know,” James Gunn had tweeted. “A truly generous, tender & funny spirit, he treats everyone around him with respect.” Davidson worked with Gunn on The Suicide Squad, where he had a small role as mercenary Richard “Dick” Hertz. West has since addressed the backlash he faced for the video, posting a suggestive caption alongside a photo of what looks like a church on fire. “Art is therapy just like this view,” he wrote. “Art is protected as freedom of speech. “Art inspires and simplifies the world. Art is not a proxy for any ill or ham. Any suggestion otherwise about my art is false and mal intended.” The Saturday Night Live star, 28, is apparently unfazed by the 44-year-old's latest stunt - a disturbing music video for Kanye's new song Eazy where the rapper appears to bury a clay-animated version of Pete alive. A source told Page Six 'He finds the fact that Kanye included a cartoon version of him in his music video hysterical.' The insider added that the comedian is flattered by the attention. 'He is almost flattered by it all because it is so ridiculous to him.' The source went on to note that the State Island native - born Peter Michael Davidson - is 'not threatened by Kanye in any way, shape or form.' Davidson is also using Ye's online outbursts to grow his relationship with his girlfriend - and Kanye's ex-wife - Kim Kardashian, 41. 'He's using this to grow in more ways than one, including for himself and his relationship with Kim. He is turning all of the negativity into a positive thing.' In the controversial music video a clay-animated version of Kanye is seen kidnapping a claymation Pete, putting a bag over his head before tying him up and throwing him on the back of an all-terrain vehicle. The cartoon Kanye then buries Pete alive, keeping his head above the dirt and growing roses on it. Kanye ended the clip with a direct message to the Saturday Night Live star: 'Everyone lived happily ever after, except Skete' before crossing out the name and writing, 'You know who.' The musician continually refers to Pete as 'Skete' as a disparaging nickname, though the meaning of moniker remains unclear. In the song - which features The Game - Kanye is also heard rapping about 'beating Pete Davidson’s a**.' The funnyman reportedly felt the same way when he first heard the song, with a source telling Page Six at the time, 'Pete thinks it’s totally hilarious. Not just that — he thinks the whole [tabloid drama with him, West and Kardashian] is hilarious. He loves it.' This isn't the first time he's mentioned Pete on a song. In his verse on Fivio Foreign’s new track, City of Gods, Kanye raps, 'This afternoon, a hundred goons pullin' up to SNL.' One person not amused by it all is Kim, who is said to be 'furious' over the video and thinks that it's 'way too violent.' A source told PEOPLE, 'She's really upset with Kanye that he'd do this. She's completely over all of this and she wants it to stop.' Last week, Kardashian was granted single status by a judge at Los Angeles County Superior Court, meaning her divorce from Kanye West is a step closer. During the hearing, Kardashian once again stated her desire to dissolve the marriage due to “irreconcilable differences”.
