He had tried to get Kim Kardashian's attention before, but Kim Kardashian did not pay attention to his efforts. Until Kim Kardashian told Kodak Black that he would never have a chance to be with her. When the Los Angeles Superior Court ruled on Wednesday (March 2) that Kim Kardashian was officially considered to be legally single, Kodak Black wasted no time shooting his shot at Kanye West’s ex-wife. The rapper, 24 — who took a bullet to the leg after a Los Angeles Super Bowl party last month — explained why the reality TV superstar, 41, should give him a chance in a Monday Instagram post. “You Need a Real N-gga Out Dat Pompanoya Bae, Ain’t Even Gone Play, Real Gansta @kimkardashian,” the “Super Gremlin” rapper wrote in an Instagram caption alongside a photo of him mimicking a recent outfit of Kim K’s. This isn’t the first time Kodak has tried his luck at getting Kim K’s attention. On his 24th birthday in 2021, Kodak dropped his Happy Birthday Kodak EP, which he promoted using one of Kim K’s bikini photos. He reached out to the Skims founder via social media back in 2018 when her estranged husband, Kanye West, was “on some stupid s—t,” as Kodak put it. “@kimkardashian Feelin Peachy Go Stream My New EP #HappyBirthdayKodak & Watch My New Video #FeelinPeachy,” he wrote alongside the thirst trap. Kim Kardashian has never responded to Kodak’s advances, which has been a common occurrence for Kodak’s last few romantic pursuits. He pulled out all the stops when he went after DreamDoll in February, going so far as to curb other women to show his dedication to her. Through it all, DreamDoll had also remained silent. But the New York rapper did finally respond on Valentine’s Day (February 14) to deliver a fatal rejection. The response came as Kodak shared a BTS photo of the pair working together on an upcoming collab. “YALL NEED TO STOP GASSING THIS N-GGA THIS IS BTS FROM OUR VIDEO SHOOT,” DreamDoll commented on the since-deleted Instagram post. “YOU WILL NEVER BE MY MAN KODAK PLEASE STOP.” Kodak then took to IG Live to issue his own response to DreamDoll’s rejection. Kodak’s latest proposition comes after a judge declared Kardashian legally single as she and West, 44, continue on in their divorce proceedings. Kardashian filed for divorce in February 2021 after seven years of marriage. “Me and shorty had like a little history and shit like throwback and shit before she had any kind of motion and then girls like they forget, they get them a few dollars and they over you,” Kodak said, inferring that he and DreamDoll have a past together. He then concluded DreamDoll and Yung Miami, who he had also pursued, should just let him smash. Kodak may be aware of Kardashian’s new status in the California court system, but it seems as though he is unaware of her flourishing relationship with Pete Davidson. Fans first noticed chemistry between Kardashian and the comedian, 28, after the two shared an onscreen smooch in an “Aladdin”-themed skit on “Saturday Night Live” in October 2021. They have since vacationed together in the Bahamas and enjoyed date nights in Davidson’s native New York City as well as Kardashian’s hometown of Los Angeles. Since Kardashian called it quits, West has dated several women, including model Vinetria, actress Julia Fox and, most recently, Kim K. look-alike Chaney Jones. However, that hasn’t stopped West from repeatedly begging Kardashian to take him back. Meanwhile, Kodak has previously been linked to City Girls MC Yung Miami.
