Kanye West's strange decision for his mutual friends with Pete Davidson Kanye West | Kim Kardashian | Pete Davidson | Kid Cudi Kanye West: The knife just goes deeper Kanye West and Kim Kardashian's drama seems to be endless. After Kim Kardashian's family, Kanye West's friends were outraged by Kanye West. Kanye West asks his friends to choose between him and Pete Davidson, Kim Kardashian's new boyfriend. Kanye West CROSSES OUT Pete Davidson's face in group photo from Kid Cudi's 2019 birthday dinner as he doubles down on CUTTING the rapper from Donda 2 over friendship with Kim Kardashian's new beau: 'The knife just goes deeper' Kanye West continued his social media tirade against pal Kid Cudi with his most ominous post to date about the status of their strained friendship. On Saturday night, the 44-year-old rapper made it clear that as long as the Ohio native, 38, remains close to his estranged wife's new boyfriend Pete Davidson, their is no place for their latest collaboration on his new album. 'I JUST WANTED MY FRIEND TO HAVE MY BACK THE KNIFE JUST GOES IN DEEPER,' he captioned a black and white throwback from a dinner at Nobu Malibu with Kid Cudi and Davidson, whose face was crossed out in red. The sushi-filled night out in the photograph took place back in 2019, and also included Kim Kardashian and Oscar nominee Timothée Chalamet. Source Over the years, Davidson, 28, has joked about getting stuck with the bill at that extravagant dinner on Cudi's 35th birthday. During an interview with Vanity Fair at the time, the actor revealed: '[Kanye] kept ordering the whole entire time and I didn't know he was coming and I already put my card down to pay because I thought it would be just me and Cudi.' When asked what Kanye ordered, he replied with a puzzled 'a bunch of rich people stuff' adding the rapper's attitude was 'order the f***ing everything because I can and then we all have one bite, maybe... because f***k you... guy.' Since Davidson began seeing Kardashian, West's opinion of the Big Time Adolescence star or any of his associates has soured. This includes Cudi, who the Gold digger hitmaker stated 'will not be on Donda because he's friends with 'you know who,' in reference to his ex-wife's new beau, who she began dating the SNL star late last year. He released the statement with a since-deleted Instagram post of a handwritten note. West's Kids See Ghosts collaborator clapped back, leaving a comment that said: 'Too bad I don't wanna be on ur album.' In his Instagram note Kanye added, 'we all speak in Billie language now,' alluding to his recent feud with the pop star. In the caption he used an emoji of a man shrugging. Cudi responded a short while later and called the Yeezy founder a 'f***ing dinosaur' before adding 'everyone knows I've been the best thing about your albums since I met you.' The Pursuit of Happiness artist then said, 'I'ma pray for you brother,' with a peace sign. The lyricist also took to Twitter to air out his feelings about the situation. In one tweet he wrote: 'We talked weeks ago about this. You’re whack for flipping the script and posting this lie just for a look on the internet.' He ended the tweet with, 'You ain’t no friend. BYE.' Minutes later Cudi — real name Scott Mescudi — followed it up with another note, writing, 'God opens the door so the wrong people can exit ur life.' This latest discord comes days after Ye took a lyrical swipe at Davidson in a new song with Fivio Foreign and Alicia Keys. 'This afternoon a hundred goons pullin' up to SNL / When I pull up, it's dead on arrival,' he raps in the new song called City of Gods. Before that the Late Registration artist said he 'beat' Pete's a**' in the song Eazy with The Game. Shortly before that Ye appeared on Instagram to ask Billie to apologize to Travis Scott for purportedly taking a swipe at the rapper during a recent performance. 'I need Billie to apologize before I perform [at Coachella],' Kanye wrote underneath a headline that said Eilish had stopped her show to give a fan an inhaler. 'I wait for the people to be okay before I keep going,' she reportedly said at the time, seemingly taking a dig at Travis and the Astroworld tragedy.
