Lee suggested there shouldn't be any drama when it comes to co-parenting, but Kanye, who legally changed his name to Ye, cautioned the reality stars instead. 'And to participate without no noise,' he said. 'Cause they can go on SNL and make jokes. They can make jokes in the media. They can plant stories about whoever I'm dating whatever they want to do. They can block deals they could do all that type of stuff.' He added: 'But I'mma tell you straight up, don't play with my kids. 'Don't play with my kids. Whoever y'all work for, whoever y'all think the family is working for, I'm telling you right now, don't play with my children. And it's going to be all legal. It's going to be all legal, baby.' The Power rapper noted that he would remain calm and wouldn't allow anyone to manipulate his story. 'You ain't finna gaslight me, it's going to be calm like this,' he said. 'But that's not what we finna play.' During the interview Kanye also named Will Smith and Jada Pinkett Smith as an example of what he doesn't want in his relationship with his ex wife. 'We’re not going for a Will and Jada because everybody got problems on both sides,' the rapper said. He also seemed particularly upset about how Kim‘s security allegedly won’t let him see their kids. 'So it’s 3 a.m., I just got off the phone with my cousins who I had directed to sit down and meet with Kim because earlier this week when I went to go pick my kids up from school, the security stopped me at the gate,' he revealed. 'So, at that point the security was between me and my children and that was what was not gonna happen,' he stated. The issue came to a head when North asked Kanye to come inside and he was once again stopped by security. 'I’m driving them as I bring them back and North is like "I want you to come upstairs and see something" and it’s like "oh, daddy can’t come inside", but that hadn’t been defined,' he said. 'And I’m hearing the new boyfriend [Pete Davidson] is actually in the house that I can’t even go to and that’s where I call my cousins,' he stated. 'So then my cousins pull up and she’s talking to me. I say, "Give me a breather. Get away from me." She’s not taking accountability for the fact that she didn’t do what she was supposed to do and that added to me being in a mood where I was like "I’m not gonna have it,"' he said. Kanye seemed to pout about not being 'allowed to know' the location of Chicago's birthday party earlier in the month in a video shared on social media, only to show up at the event later on thanks to Kylie Jenner's boyfriend for stepping in and helping out. 'I just gotta shout out to Travis Scott for sending me the address and the time and making sure that I was able to spend that birthday memory with my daughter and to be there with the rest of the family,' he said. Kanye added that it was Kylie who let him onto the property after security guards tried to stop him from entering. Although Kanye was in a better mood after making it to the party, a source told The Sun that things were so tense that they had to stay at 'opposite sides' of the party. 'When he finally got the address he arrived like a bat out of hell in a rental car around 1 p.m., driving himself without any security,' they shared. 'He seemed okay once he started talking to the family and was in great spirits laughing and playing with Chicago, it seems he just wanted to be involved in her day and didn’t want to cause trouble.' The rapper and the shapewear mogul had 'no scene' during the party, and barely had any interactions. 'There was no scene between him and Kim but they did spend most of the afternoon at other ends of the garden. He chatted with Kris and some other family members but there was no deep discussion with Kim yet.' Kim filed for divorce from Kanye in February 2021 after nearly seven years of marriage, and filed a motion in December to legally terminate her marital status and be declared single. In a statement signed on Nov. 24 by Kim and filed weeks later, she wrote: 'Irreconcilable differences have existed and continue to exist between (Ye) and me, which have caused our marriage to irretrievably break down. No counseling or reconciliation effort will be of any value at this time.'
