Kim Kardashian is a really car girl | Watch Video Kim Kardashian Kim Kardashian Buys a 'Million Dollar' Car on Discovery We had a tour of Kim Kardashian's house, Kim Kardashian showed her cars to her fans. Kim Kardashian is very interested in her cars. Now Kim Kardashian buys an expensive new car. In case you missed it, Kim Kardashian is a car girl. This is almost certainly not what you know her for, but it turns out she collects cars the way most kids collect Hot Wheels, with a full array of gray vehicles at her disposal. And in an exclusive Million Dollar Wheels clip given to Cosmo, she’s looking to grow her fleet. Kim toured a swanky black custom van with car dealer RD in the video above, and while things started off smoothly, she quickly threw him a gray-colored curveball. Watch Video: RD said his team worked “around the clock” making the fully customized van, which features club-like lighting, retractable seats that hide into the car walls and a partition that turns to both frost and a giant television (casual). “We were joking that we needed a bus, who needs a bus [when you have this]?” Kim said. All went according to plan until Kim asked to change the color of the fully complete car from black to gray. Like, the entire car color scheme. “Do you think it’d be weird? I kind of just want everything all gray,” Kim said. “Yeah. That’s what needs to happen. The whole fleet is gray.” And then we got to see this man’s soul leave his body. (JK, JK, he was actually very accommodating: “I just brought her a black van that is completely custom and ready to go, and now she wants to change the color of paint to gray. Is this a problem? Absolutely not.”) In the end, Kim bought the car after they added customizations, which indeed included the exterior gray swap so it matches the rest of Kim’s Kars™. Why the Kardashians Moved From E! Out with the old, in with the new...giant streaming service. New baby name? Check. New comedian boyfriend? Check. New...nine-figure TV deal (according to insiders, obvi)? Check. Overall, it's safe to say the Kardashians have been having a very good year so far. And in the family's latest interview with Variety, they specifically discuss why their new deal with streaming giant Hulu is one of the many welcome changes fans will enjoy in the near future. For starters, the newest iteration of the show is much more “tech forward,” according to Khloé. “For us to be still on cable was just not so on brand for us.” Same, Khloé, same. Another reason for the move had to do with family members being able to individually shoot scenes instead of being relegated to coordinating all of their, well, hectic schedules. The switch allows for viewers to experience a tighter episode turnaround time, which for Kim is an added bonus since she won't have to relive drama months after it happens IRL. “We wanted it to be as current as possible. We hated how long we had to wait. That was like the death of us, because once we got over something, we had to rehash it all over again,” she said. During Keeping Up With the Kardashians's later seasons, fans were given a glimpse into Kanye West's ~influence~ via the show's intro sequence, which shifted from colorful and quirky to muted and retro-inspired, laying the blueprint for many old-school polaroid selfies to come. The family wanted to continue this tradition with more documentary-style visuals and longer episodes. “My goal was that [the show] was familiar and felt like home, like, ‘Oh, my God, they’re back.’ But updated or just a little bit more intimate,” Kim told Variety. *chef's kiss* Unsurprisingly, the family's decision to pivot from their longtime home at E! to Hulu also had to do with...well, money. Though we can't say for sure exactly how much the family is getting paid, there is a speculated nine-figure deal at hand. Whatever the final $$ is, Walt Disney Television’s chairman of entertainment, Dana Walden, said it's one they “very much deserve [because] who would you want more for your unscripted slate than the Kardashians?” I mean...we can't argue with that logic. As we eagerly await for the series premiere of Hulu's The Kardashians on April 14, we only have one thing to say to the reality TV superstars: “You're doing amazing, sweetie!” Source Cosmopolitan Cosmopolitan
