The project has been confirmed on Twitter and the Axion Space Station will be set a special mission commanded by the pilot Michael Lopez-Alegria, with Cruise on board. NASA also confirmed their involvement in the ambitious project announcing they’re excited to work with A-list star on the first movie to be set aboard a Space Station. The movie still untitled has an estimated budget around $200 million. The feature film will be directed by Doug Liman, best known for the famous action thriller “The Bourne Identity” franchise. The pair worked together on the movies “Edge Of Tomorrow” in 2014 and “American Made” in 2017.
