Kim Kardashian has acknowledged that her ex-husband Kanye West may have been correct when she had to remove a lip-syncing video posted by their daughter North West on TikTok.

"As soon as I saw the words, I was like, 'Oh no, we're taking this down,'" explained the 42-year-old star of "Keeping Up With the Kardashians" to Time magazine on Tuesday.

She added, "I saw on the internet [people saying], 'Kanye [West] was right,' and maybe he was in that instance."

The video, which has since been deleted, featured North dressed as rapper Ice Spice, complete with the artist's signature curly red hair, as she performed the hit song "Boy's a liar, Pt 2."

Fans were quick to notice that some of the lyrics in the popular song contained explicit descriptions of sexual intercourse.

Kim Kardashian's ex-husband, from whom she filed for divorce in 2021 after seven years of marriage, has criticized her for allowing their 10-year-old daughter to use the popular social media platform.

In response to the backlash, Kardashian acknowledged that parenting involves "trial and error" at times. Despite the suggestive lyrics, she doesn't believe her daughter should be completely banned from the app.

"She loves making slime videos and doing her little hair tutorials, and I will fight for her to be creative," she stated to Time magazine.

The former couple, who also have three other children together, have publicly clashed over their divergent parenting views on multiple occasions in the past.

In February 2022, Kanye, who recently entered a non-legally-binding marriage with Bianca Censori, an employee of his Yeezy brand, took to his own social media platform to criticize Kardashian for allowing their daughter on TikTok without his consent.

In response to Kanye West's Instagram post expressing his concern about their daughter being on TikTok without his consent, Kim Kardashian fired back, stating that Kanye's constant attacks on her in interviews and on social media are more hurtful than any TikTok video North might create.

As the main provider and caregiver for their children, Kardashian emphasized that she is doing her best to protect North while still allowing her to express her creativity on TikTok, as it brings her daughter a lot of happiness.

However, by December, the former couple had reached a compromise. Kardashian shared during an interview on Gweneth Paltrow's podcast "The Goop" that they had established a rule: North could only use TikTok on her phone and in a limited manner, ensuring she couldn't freely scroll and access inappropriate content. While Kanye was not entirely pleased with the arrangement, Kardashian respected his concerns and found a middle ground.
