Ryan Reynolds playfully teased his friend Taylor Swift over rumors of her possible romance with Matty Healy. Reynolds posted a selfie on his Instagram Story to the tune of "Chocolate" by The 1975, Healy's band, with the caption "Zoom Zoom." Although Reynolds didn't mention Healy or Swift by name, the timing of his post, just days after rumors circulated about the two musicians, suggested he was poking fun at the rumors. Healy was spotted at all three of Swift's Nashville concerts, and both he and Swift appeared to mouth the same phrase during recent performances. The two were then spotted together in Nashville, sharing a car on May 7.
Although Taylor Swift and Matty Healy have not publicly commented on their relationship status, an exclusive source told Us Weekly earlier this month that they have been spending time together and having fun. The source added that they both admire each other's talent and have many mutual friends, including Jack Antonoff.
Ryan Reynolds and his wife, Blake Lively, have a close relationship with Swift. After her breakup with Joe Alwyn in April, Swift met up with Reynolds and Lively for a meal at Casa Cipriani in Manhattan while on tour. Lively and Swift were also seen having a girls' night out with the Haim sisters and Gigi Hadid.
Us Weekly confirmed in April that Swift and Alwyn, who had been together for nearly six years, had ended their relationship. A source told Us that Alwyn, who is shy and doesn't like the attention that comes with dating a famous singer, found Swift's A-list status to be a factor in their split. The insider added that Alwyn doesn't blame Swift for her popularity and that she isn't at fault for the breakup.
