The reason behind the death of a woman resembling Kim Kardashian has been revealed as horrifying. According to reports, the 34-year-old OnlyFans star, Christina Ashten Gourkani, who had spent a large sum of money on cosmetic surgeries to resemble the celebrity, died due to cardiac arrest caused by silicone injections in her buttocks. The procedure was carried out by an unlicensed practitioner, Vivian Gomez, in a hotel room. Ms Gourkani underwent the risky procedure and tragically passed away in the hospital last month. The Daily Post reported that Ms Gourkani hired Ms Gomez, who does not possess a medical license, for the enhancement. Ms Gomez now faces serious charges for her actions.
San Mateo County District Attorney Steve Wagstaffe revealed that Ms Gomez administered "several injections" of silicone to Ms Gourkani at a hotel in California on April 19. Ms Gomez was subsequently arrested at Fort Lauderdale Airport in Florida on April 20 and will be extradited to Redwood City in San Francisco. She is facing charges of involuntary manslaughter and practicing medicine without a license, which resulted in great bodily injury.
The coroner's office is still investigating the circumstances surrounding Ms Gourkani's tragic death. Her family had started a GoFundMe page last month to raise funds for her funeral and expressed their shock and sorrow in a lengthy statement, which also included a brief account of the events leading up to her untimely passing.
In a heart-wrenching statement, the family of Christina Ashten Gourkani expressed their deep sorrow and devastation at her unexpected passing. They described their beloved daughter and sister as beautiful, and shared the harrowing moment when they received a phone call at 4:30 am informing them of her deteriorating health, with someone screaming "Ashten is dying, Ashten is dying!"
A family spokesperson recounted the "living nightmare" of watching Ms Gourkani's health decline in the hospital after her cardiac arrest. OnlyFans model Mary Magdalene paid tribute to Ms Gourkani on Instagram and expressed her condolences, admitting that even though she didn't know her personally, she would often see her on Instagram and think she was pretty. She also emphasized the fear and uncertainty surrounding risky surgeries and expressed her own concerns about potential brain damage.
