Florence Pugh has made a bold entrance at the Met Gala 2023 by shaving her head. The 27-year-old actress donned a dramatic black and white Valentino gown with a lengthy train for her very first appearance at the prestigious event. The gown featured a plunging neckline with black bow detail on the white bodice. However, the real highlight of her look was her shaved head, which she accessorized with a feathered headpiece.
Just this morning, Pugh was spotted sporting a shoulder-length bob with bangs, and she was seen with blonde locks during a Met Gala pregame date with Ashley Park in Central Park. She also sported the same hairstyle at a Tiffany & Co. event last week.
Although this is Florence Pugh's first appearance at the Met Gala, she is no stranger to making bold fashion statements.
During the press tour for "Don't Worry Darling" in 2022, Pugh sported several unforgettable looks, including a monochromatic purple Valentino ensemble at the Venice Film Festival and a sheer Valentino dress for the film's premiere.
Recently, Pugh has been pushing the envelope even further on the red carpet. At the Paris Fashion Week Valentino show in March, she turned heads with a floor-length, sheer sequin skirt, revealing her underwear underneath.
Later that month, she took another fashion risk at the Oscars with a showstopping Valentino Couture look featuring teensy shorts and giant ruffles.
In addition to her red carpet appearances, Pugh has a busy schedule with several upcoming movie projects. Following the release of "A Good Person" in March, which she both starred in and produced with ex-boyfriend Zach Braff, she is set to star in "Oppenheimer" and "Dune: Part Two" later this year. She is also slated to reprise her beloved role as Yelena Belova in Marvel's "Thunderbolts," which is expected to start filming this summer.
