Kim Kardashian, who sported a striking pearl outfit while walking the red carpet at the May 1 Met Gala, recently discussed her forthcoming role in "American Horror Story: Delicate" with Variety's Marc Malkin. "We're commencing filming my scenes at the end of this month. However, production has already begun, and I'm extremely excited," Kardashian stated.
Although she couldn't reveal much about her role, she did mention, "It's truly exhilarating to push beyond your limits, attempt new things, and evolve. I'm thrilled to have this experience." When asked if she was taking acting lessons to prepare for her role, she replied, "Of course I am. It's a challenge, but I like to challenge myself."
"Delicate," the twelfth installment of the anthology series, features an ensemble cast that includes Emma Roberts, Matt Czuchry, Cara Delevingne, Annabelle Dexter-Jones, MJ Rodriguez, and Odessa A'zion. It is based on Danielle Valentine's upcoming novel "Delicate Condition" and is said to be a spine-chilling narrative in the vein of "Rosemary's Baby."
In addition to her extensive work in reality television, Kardashian has also acted in scripted projects such as "Disaster Movie" (2008), "Temptation: Confessions of a Marriage Counselor" (2013), and "PAW Patrol: The Movie" (2021).
Meanwhile, Kardashian's striking Met Gala attire was designed by Schiaparelli. According to a press release, "She donned a draped skirt and top composed of more than 50,000 freshwater pearls and over 16,000 crystals, with a blush satin molded corset and a bone white washed faille stole. Her choker, pearl drop earrings, and articulated ring were created using crystals and one-of-a-kind baroque pearls. It took a dozen artisans and over 1,000 hours to create Ms. Kardashian's look, as each pearl strand was strung and draped on her body."
