Is Kim Kardashian planning to leave reality TV and pursue a full-time career as a lawyer? In an interview with the Wall Street Journal, the 42-year-old businesswoman stated, “I don’t see me floating on a yacht. I think I’ll always feel good when I’m working.”
Kim has had a successful career in the entertainment industry, including becoming a mother and embarking on various ventures. However, her recent pursuits as a lawyer and advocate have also garnered attention and admiration from her fans.
Although she has no plans to leave the entertainment industry, Kim has considered it. At the 2023 Time100 Summit in New York City, she jokingly told her mother, who is also her manager, “Kim K. is retiring, and I’m just going to be an attorney. So you can go help my siblings [and] you can still have a job.”
According to Kim, leaving reality TV and transitioning to a career as a full-time attorney would not be a problem for her. “I would be just as happy being an attorney full-time and doing that. The journey just really opened up my eyes to so much,” she explained. Despite the overwhelming workload, Kim expressed her willingness to spend more time practicing law, with or without cameras.
Kim has previously stated that her late father, a successful lawyer, was her inspiration for pursuing law. She hopes to start a law firm that offers pro bono services and hires people who were formerly incarcerated. “I don’t see me floating on a yacht. I think I’ll always feel good when I’m working,” she told the Wall Street Journal in 2021.
The Kardashian family has been a constant presence in reality TV since their debut in 2007, with over 20 seasons under their belt. They continue to share their life journey on Hulu, with a new season set to air in May.
