Janet Jackson Flaunts Her Incredible Tour Outfits, Including Custom Valentino and Louboutin Boots

During a recent segment on Today, the 56-year-old singer provided a glimpse into the extensive collection of clothing needed to prepare for her tour performances.
As the Together Again Tour marks Jackson's return to the stage after a four-year hiatus, the pop icon went all out to create an exceptional on-stage look.
Jackson invited Today into her wardrobe room, which is filled with multiple rows of hanging racks, numerous plastic containers, over a dozen drawers, and an overwhelming number of shoes. She also shared some information about the clothing she wears during her performances.
When Janet Jackson was asked if the glitzy gold catsuit she was holding was heavy, she replied, "No, Valentino made this for me. It's lightweight and it's my opening catsuit." She then switched gears to talk about the purple hooded cape she wears over the catsuit, revealing that it was created by Pier Paolo Piccioli for Valentino and that it is heavy, making her feel incredibly powerful.
After discussing her opening outfit, Jackson bent down to pick up a pair of sparkly gold knee-high boots with Christian Louboutin's signature red soles, exclaiming, "Christian has been a good friend of mine for a long time. I just gave him a call and said, 'Momma needs some new shoes.' "
When Janet Jackson announced her first tour since the COVID-19 pandemic on Instagram, she shared a heartfelt message with her seven million followers. She expressed her deep longing to see them, saying, "You guys, I miss you so much; I am so excited to see you. You have no idea how much I've missed you, and I can't wait to be with you. I'm so excited."
The tour, which started in Florida on April 14th, will conclude in Seattle on June 21st and will include 33 cities throughout North America and beyond, such as New York City, Los Angeles, Austin, and Toronto. Hip-hop heavyweight Ludacris will join the star on her long-awaited tour.
